Hi everyone!! I'm glad I've met some of you this semester. It was very nice to read all of your stories. However, I think it's my turn now to talk a little about me.

My name is Julianna Soares F. do Nascimento. I'm 19 years old and I've been living in Brasília for almost 4 years now. I was born in Recife-PE. At first I lived with my parents but my father had to work in another State and my mother decided to study for public exams so I moved to the Countryside to live with my grandparents. Grandpa died when I was 5, so I moved back to Recife to live with my parents again. I was a very happy child for I had everything I needed. I missed my grandpa very much at that time because he was like a father for me, but I would get used to it sooner than I thought. My parents got divorced when I was 8. At first it was very complicated because mom couldn't get used to the absence of dad, despite the fact that I had a little sister to take care of. We agreed that I would spend one semester with each, so in one year I lived in two cities: Brasília and Recife. When I was 14 I decided to come to Brasília for good. I finished high school with 15 and at that age I started lawschool.

I think I'm more of a quiet person. I'm very shy with people I don't know and I prefer quiet places with breathtaking views to think or spend some time. I love going to the cinema with my boyfriend and we do it whenever we've got a chance. As a matter of fact, yesterday (24.04.08) we celebrated one year together!

As for my plans for the future, I intend neverstop studying. I want to work at the public ministry, have a good and stable life with my boyfriend and live out of Brasília, in a place where the violence isn't that tough.

I think that with that kind of life I will become a very happy woman.
